Feedback from guests is valuable, both for your hotel and for other future guests. Therefore we have developed a new feature where guest reviews are published automatically.
What is new?
Hotels have the option to control which reviews are published in the Review Module of their Responsive Booking Engine. We discovered that many hotels forget to publish reviews, which is a loss of valuable content. Guests have taken their time to share important feedback, which was never published. Therefore, reviews will now be published automatically.
When will reviews be published?
When a guest has written a review, this will now be published automatically after 14 days. Hotels will be informed via a weekly email notification every Monday morning with an overview of all pending reviews. This means that for every review, two email notifications are sent before a review is published automatically two weeks later.
What do I have to do?
If you want all reviews to be published automatically, no action is required. If you however want to control which reviews are published and which are not published, you can control this via login.hoteliers.com > White Label Plus > White Label Plus Reviews.
Note We encourage you not to wait for the publication date, but to publish and respond to reviews as soon as you receive them.
What if I don't want a review to be published?
Pending reviews are always shown at the top of the page. It is possible per review to choose if a review should be published or not:
- If you take no action, a review will be published automatically after 14 days
- For "Publish review = Yes": The review will be visible in the Review Module directly and will not show up anymore in the pending review notification
- For "Publish review = No": The review will not be visible in the Review Module and will not show up anymore in the pending review notification
- For "Publish review = Yes" + "Show texts = No": The review will be visible in the Review Module directly with the review score, but will not show the text
