How long does the guest name remain visible in the RDX Channel Manager?

This article describes the reason why you no longer see the name of the guest when looking up a reservation in the RDX Channel Manager.


In the RDX Channel Manager you can look up all received reservations from all booking channels under Reservations. You will also see the name of the guest.

It can happen that when looking up a reservation in the Guest column, you no longer see the name of the guest, but ****.
This has to do with the new GDPR legislation.

In the RDX Channel Manager, the name of the guest remain visible for up to 180 days after the guest's departure. When the 180 days have passed, the name of the guest is automatically converted to, for example A**** B****.
